Eugene Trokon Gray
Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Eugene serves as the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at Riders for Health Liberia. He joined the organization in February 2018 as a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator and was promoted to his current managerial role in December of the same year. Eugene has a diverse background in various roles across multiple organizations, including serving as Program Manager for the Mano River Women's Peace Network, Project Officer at YWCA Liberia, Team Leader at the Development Economic Group, and Project Officer for the USAID/LCIP/DAI Workforce Readiness Project.
Eugene's expertise is underscored by his comprehensive training in project management and Result-Based Management (RBM). He holds several certificates, including one in statistics and another in monitoring and evaluation, alongside a Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation. Additionally, he is pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) in International Relations, has a Master of Science (MSc) in Regional Planning, and earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics, all from the University of Liberia. He has led and participated in several surveys and served international missions with the Mano River Union on election observation in Guinea and Sierra Leon.
In his role at Riders for Health, Eugene is tasked with providing strategic guidance and technical support for the execution of the organization's sample transport implementation and fleet management projects, as well as adjusting the monitoring and evaluation plan and framework where necessary. He also plays a key role in refining and digitizing data collection methods in collaboration with the operation Manager reflective of the project's key performance Indicators (KPI) as agreed upon.
